Some reminders!

If you’ve finished your piece for the Nordic Romance Fest, please make sure to post it on our LJ community before posting it elsewhere online! I’ve seen a few of your submissions floating around Tumblr and while I’m not sure if they’re WIPs or not, it’s important for you to post your pieces on our LJ so everything stays organized and it makes it easier for me to keep track of everything. If you’re unsure how to go about posting on LJ, leave a message on our FAQ entry, send us an e-mail or our ask box here on Tumblr and I’ll do my best to help! If you don’t have an LJ or you opted to be anonymous, please send your fanwork to nordicromancefest[@]gmail[.]com. Please also make sure to read the posting guidelines before posting or sending your work over. We haven’t received any submissions yet so if you have submitted something over please send it again!

A few weeks ago it was announced the deadline was changed from July 31st to August 7th. This deadline is still in place so please do not rush with your fanwork! You still have a week and half to go before the fest closes! Another reminder post will be made once we get closer to the closing date.

I hope everyone has been having fun producing their fanwork for the fest! Good luck to everyone who is still working on them!

I'm really glad the deadline got extended, heh. I'll definitely need the extra time.

Don't be surprised if a ton of people submit at the last minute. I find that happens a lot. (The last two times, I had people submitting at like 4 AM on the day of closing... Whatever, as long as it was there before I woke up, I called it good, heh.)

Same! I'm running into so many problems with mine it's crazy. I had to put a new deadline after a bunch of participants came to me looking for their prompts! Because they came to me so close to the opening date for posting, I wanted to make sure they had enough time to finish their pieces so I extended the deadline.

Oh trust me, I'm prepared for that! I was guilty of posting my stuff at 3 or 4 in the morning with the fests you put on! I'm hoping that I won't do that this time around around but knowing me and procrastinating and perfectionist nature, that's probably going to happen. XD

Oh my goodness, your icon. I ship them so hard! They were one of my first OTPs when I was younger! ;o;

By the way, LJ tells me that commends are screened. Is that intentional? If not, might want to change it.

They were but that shouldn't be the case anymore! I must of forgotten to switch that function off. Thanks for letting me know!
